The parents of Roxana Saberi said that their attorney in Iran plans to visit the Tehran jail where their daughter is being detained, according to InForum, a North Dakota news site.

Saberi’s father, Reza of Fargo, said their attorney in Iran is expected to see his 31-year-old daughter on Saturday and report back to the parents, who haven’t heard from Roxana in more than a month.

“He’s a lawyer so we hope that they will allow him to see her,” he said. “He will be able to talk to her and see what the real story is and what they’re going to do.”

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton continued to call for Saberi’s release.

Clinton was asked at a news conference Thursday what the U.S. government was doing to secure Saberi’s release, according the The Associated Press.

Clinton said she was concerned about Saberi, and that the State Department is working through Swiss authorities to request information from Tehran. They are seeking information on Saberi’s well-being, whereabouts and what Clinton described as the charges made in her confinement.

Clinton said the only acceptable outcome was for Saberi to be released and allowed to return to her parents in Fargo. She said she expects a response from the Iranians and thanked the Swiss for their help.
